Ponders End

The Food Hub in Ponders End takes place at least once a month on a Tuesday for people who are going hungry because their cupboards are bare.  Families are choosing to skip meals so that their children can eat, or are forced to choose between heating and eating. We believe that no one should starve just to pay the rent, and that is the reason why we try to break the cycle of food poverty by offering food parcels to provide hope so that they can rebuild their lives.

Compassionate Neighbours

We offer a compassionate service to neighbours where we provide conversation to the lonely and one-to-one friendship to people who are at risk of loneliness.

Good News to the Poor

'?A big thank you to all involved at the Ponders End Food Hub who delivered food to my home. I was able to share my food parcels with my family who are struggling financially.'

'Thank you for all your help you have given us over the years. Three years ago when our bed broke you bought us a single bed. On a few occasions you brought us some groceries and turkey at Christmas. It is really a blessing for us.'
Ruby, Enfield

'Thank you for the basket of toiletries that was given to us for the poor and needy. It was truly appreciated and we give God thanks for those who gave it to you.'
